What a project is, and what to enter when you create one.
What a project is
A project is one website you work on: its audits, keywords, competitors, recommendations, tasks and reports all live in it. You can have up to 25 active projects.
The website address
Enter the address of the site's home page, for example https://www.example.com. Publinza audits that host only. Private network addresses, local addresses and non-standard ports are refused, because the crawler never reaches into private networks.
Market: country, language and device
The setup asks which country, language and device your keywords should be considered for. It labels your keyword and ranking data, so positions recorded for different markets are never mixed. You can change it later in the project's settings.
After creating it
The project overview offers to run your first site audit. Nothing else is required: Google connections and ranking data are optional, and the project works without them.
